Heineken, the official sponsor of The UEFA Champions League and The Heineken Cup celebrates both tournament finals on one ultimate day – Heineken Star Saturday (22nd May 2010).
Heineken united two of Ireland’s biggest sporting heroes, the new Heineken Star Saturday ambassadors - Manchester United legend Denis Irwin and Munster champion Anthony ‘Axel’ Foley to officially launch Heineken Star Saturday.

How do you manage to balance your work and your home life?
I have two young boys who like to keep me busy when I get home which forces me to switch off from work
What activities do you enjoy doing most as a family when you are not working?
We live on the river Shannon and have a boat that we spend lots of time on
How important is sports to the family?
Kids are sports mad – rugby, hurling, soccer and the list goes on!
What is your most memorable moment as a dad?
Seeing my two boys dressed head to toe in Manchester United kit!!
Would you consider yourself to be a strict parent?
NO – we like the boys to express themselves and then like to reason with them.
What do you find to be the most difficult thing about being a dad?
Lack of sleep
What advice would you give to a new dad?
Don’t listen to anybodys advice!
What is the one thing you learned from your own dad?
There are so many things…. And Im still learning from him...
